When Millie Bobby Brown had to shave her hair to play Eleven in Stranger Things, her family weren’t happy.

As her previously very long hair became a buzz cut, her parents took it pretty hard – but in response, the young actress told Vulture that she simply told them: “I was like, ‘Dude, it grows back. It’s fine.'”

And now, it looks like it finally is beginning to as she’s featured alongside her co-stars on the cover of Entertainment Weekly with a brand new do.

Featuring a first look at the series’ second season, the magazine’s front page implies that [spoiler alert] despite how the series ended it looks like Eleven could be back on our screens soon after all.

And with that grey sweatshirt, set of dungarees and those corkscrew girls, possibly with a totally new look too.

When Brown took the plunge and shaved off her wavy locks back in summer 2016, she shared the whole process on Instagram, including a video of the moment it was all taken off.

It apparently took her 12 years to grow it to that length (in other words, her entire life).

But cutting it all off in exchange for Eleven’s psychokinetic abilities? We would.
