Child stood up at his own 'Stranger Things' party gets sweet revenge
Imagine having everything ready to throw the perfect ‘Stranger Things’ themed birthday party – fairy lights, a themed cake, even a ‘demogorgon blood’ cocktail dispenser – and no one turning up.
This happened to one teenager called Ayen Alambat, who invited his classmates to his birthday party themed after the super-popular Netflix series.
But not a single one of the eight invitees showed their faces.
Alambat’s fortunes soon changed, however, after his brother tweeted about the situation.

His brother wrote in a post: “’My brother invited eight of his classmates for his Stranger Things themed bday [sic] party and none of their punk selves showed up.”
The tweet soon gained traction worldwide, gathering up more than 50,000 retweets and 250,000 likes.
And soon, even Millie Bobby Brown – who plays Eleven in the series – chimed in.
