Miley Cyrus’ 'emo' hairstyle is transporting us back to the early 00s
Former emo kids of the early 00s, it's our time (again) because Miley Cyrus has only gone and resurrected an iconic hairstyle of the era. Yep, the deep side-parted, half-face covering look is back. Say it with me, now: 'It's not a phase, mum!'.
And speaking of mum (I use this to reference all – not just mine, BTW), with Miley's new look that she recently debuted on Instagram, fans of the star cannot get over how much she looks like her own mother, Tish Cyrus.
The following three comments on her post have racked up thousands of likes – which, as ever, we equate to as agreement – read:

This style is such a lewk and we're so here for the revival. Not to mention that it's so easy to achieve. Just dramatically part your hair to the side of your head, sweep your face-framing strands over your eye and whack in that strong hold hair spray.

Oh, and adding to the excitement of her new hairdo, the singer also revealed a special announcement in her caption, sharing that she and her godmother, Dolly Parton will cohost a New Years Eve party that can be watched by all. "Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party (co-hosted with @dollyparton) 12/31 at 10:30pm ET on NBC and @Peacocktv!", she writes.
