Mila Kunis Has Some Thoughts on Ashton and Reese's Awkward Red-Carpet Photos

The internet can't get over how awkward Your Place or Mine costars Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher look while posing together to promote their film—and neither can Mila Kunis.
While speaking with Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager on Monday's Today show, Witherspoon said Kutcher's wife, Kunis, poked fun at the costars' press tour red-carpet photos in an email she sent to Witherspoon and Kutcher.
"She goes, 'You guys look so awkward on the red carpet together,'" Witherspoon said. (She and Kunis are longtime friends.)
Kunis also voiced her thoughts to Kutcher. "My wife called me. She texted me and Reese together. She’s like, 'Guys, you gotta, like, act like you each other.' And I’m like, 'What’s going on?' Here’s the thing: If I put my arm around her and was, like, all friendly with her, I’d be having an affair with her—the rumor would be that I’m having an affair with her," Kutcher said in a clip from his upcoming February 8, appearance on the "Chicks in the Office" podcast. He adds, "If I stand next to her, I put my hands in my pockets so there’s no chance that, like, that could be the rumor—the rumor is we don’t like each other. Reese and I are really good friends. We’re really close. I don’t have to defend that. I don’t have to defend it."
It all started at the world premiere of Netflix's Your Place Or Mine, which took place on February 2 at Los Angeles' Regency Village Theatre. There, Witherspoon and Kutcher looked visibly uncomfortable while attempting to smile for photos together.
The two have continued to promote their film for the past week, and though they've become close friends since they started filming, their photos together just don't get any better.
