There Might Be A Best Order To Watch Netflix's 'Kaleidoscope' Episodes
Wednesday aside, there's really only one other Netflix show people are talking about right now: Kaleidoscope. But now that you know how to watch the episodes in chronological order, is there a 'best' order to watch them?
In case you didn't know, the 'choose your own adventure' style show centres around a heist, inspired by the real-life story of when $70 billion in bonds went missing during Hurricane Sandy.
When you go to watch the show, you are given a totally random episode order (except for the first and last episodes), meaning you watch the series, with each episode focussing on a different characters' viewpoint, in a varying order to someone else.
Pretty cool, huh? But while we're happy to put our episode order into the hands of Netflix, we have been wondering if there's a 'best' order to watch Kaleidoscope in.
The short answer? No. Nor the creators or streaming service have discussed a 'favourite' way to watch the episodes, instead leaving the randomised order up to chance. But there are options for how you can choose to watch the show:
Watch Kaleidoscope chronologically:
Black - explaining the show
Violet - 24 years before the heist
Green - 7 years before the heist
Yellow - 6 weeks before the heist
Orange - 3 weeks before the heist
Blue - 5 days before the heist
White - the heist
Red - the morning after the heist
Pink - 6 months after
Watch Kaleidoscope in rainbow order:
While there isn't an 'Indigo', you might've noticed the episode names make up the colours of the rainbow, with an added 'Pink'. Viewers have suggested watching the episodes in the colours of the rainbow, subbing the two and finishing with the heist itself, aka 'White' (not a colour of the rainbow:

Red - the morning after the heist
Orange - 3 weeks before the heist
Yellow - 6 weeks before the heist
Green - 7 years before the heist
Blue - 5 days before the heist
Pink - 6 months after

White - the heist
I came up with a bunch of different orders to watch Kaleidoscope in so you don’t have to pic.twitter.com/FE6IiwjzM9

Watch Kaleidoscope in reverse chronological order:
If you're impatient, why not start with the fall out of the heist, before the heist itself, and then look into the backstory of each character? That way, you're bound to already be engaged in their involvement, rather than watching an episode that might feel a bit random first.
Black - explaining the show
Pink - 6 months after
Red - the morning after the heist
White - the heist
Blue - 5 days before the heist
Orange - 3 weeks before the heist
Yellow - 6 weeks before the heist
Green - 7 years before the heist
Violet - 24 years before the heist
Or, why not just watch it in the randomised order provided by the streaming service, so all you have to do is settle down on the sofa with some snacks? Nice.
Kaleidoscope is now streaming on Netflix.
