Michael Strahan and Starter Bring Vibrant New Orleans Colors and Mardi Gras Culture to Life With MSX Super Bowl LVIII Collection
Michael Strahan and Starter are back with their latest collaboration, bringing the energy of New Orleans to Super Bowl LVIII. The MSX by Michael Strahan x Starter capsule features varsity jackets, windbreakers, hoodies and graphic T-shirts designed to reflect the vibrant colors and cultural influences of the host city.
The collection marks the fourth installment of the MSX by Michael Strahan and Starter partnership, which continues to blend sports, fashion and local culture. The collection draws inspiration from the bold hues of Mardi Gras, the iconic streets of the French Quarter, and the excitement of game day.

“Michael Strahan and Starter have built a relationship that transcends sports — it’s about connecting with fans and delivering designs that tell a story,” said Carl Banks, president of G-III Apparel Group’s sports licensing division, the manufacturing partner for the Starter brand. “This collection captures the vibrant culture of New Orleans and the excitement of Super Bowl LVIII in every piece.”
Strahan, who first launched MSX by Michael Strahan at the Super Bowl, continues to expand his presence in sportswear. In March 2024, the brand became the official off-field apparel partner of the United Football League, providing gear for players, coaches and broadcasters.
Designer Brian Begley, returning for his fourth year with the collection, emphasized the local influences in the latest release. “Each piece in this year’s collection takes inspiration from the Big Easy’s colors, places, people, music and culture. We even hid a few surprises in the designs,” he said.
The MSX by Michael Strahan x Starter Super Bowl LVIII capsule is available in stores and online at the Super Bowl Experience in New Orleans, Fanatics/NFL Shop and Dick’s Sporting Goods.
