The Take It Down Act is a bipartisan bill aimed at combating nonconsensual intimate imagery and AI-generated abuse online. Trump participated in a Capitol Hill roundtable to raise awareness about the legislation and its importance.

“It’s heartbreaking to witness young teens, especially girls, grappling with the overwhelming challenges posed by malicious online content, like deepfakes,” she said during the meeting.

The Senate-passed bill criminalizes the publication of “non-consensual, sexually exploitative images, including AI-generated deepfakes.”

Since the second inauguration of her husband, U.S. President Donald Trump, the first lady seems to have embraced menswear-inspired looks as her signature style. She wore a Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo in February at the White House Governors’ dinner. The outfit was similar to the one she wore for her White House official portrait, unveiled in January.

Melania Trump has also worn outfits created by Adam Lippes, Herve Pierre, Prada and Valentino since January.
