Melania Trump sells Christmas ornaments during Fox News appearance
Melania Trump — set to return to the White House in January as first lady — showcased her new Christmas ornament collection during a recent appearance on Fox News.
“After I left the White House, I established my Web3 and Web2 platforms where I design, where I have collectibles like ornaments every season,” Melania Trump, the wife of President-elect Trump, told the crowd during the Friday morning interview on “Fox & Friends.”
“This is the third season and many other collectibles that are available now,” she added.
Each year, ornaments are retired, making each season’s collection unique.
The 2024 ornament collection is called “Merry Christmas, America!.” There are four featured pieces in the collection — including a golden star with “USA” in the middle, a golden version of Lady Liberty, a red, white and blue snowflake and a golden clover — and each feature Melania Trump’s signature. The golden star is listed for $90 per ornament and the others are $75 a piece.
Trump mentioned the project was very “special” and shared that a portion of the proceeds are used for her charitable efforts.
“So with those, I have students from a foster community that I sponsor and I’m very proud of, and we have many of them so their life changes because they will have an education,” she said.
Decorations were inspired by the former first lady’s lived experiences, including her time as a model abroad.
“For example, Lady Liberty, it was inspiration from my necklace that I bought when I was modeling in Paris, and now we have ornaments and we have also a necklace that is available on milaniatrump.com,” she said Friday, while displaying the seasonal items.
Trump, 54, previously oversaw White House Christmas decorations before her husband lost reelection in 2020. She is expected to resume the responsibility when the president-elect returns to the Oval Office after winning the election last month.
