Meghan Trainor has babies on the brain.

While backstage at Jingle Ball 2024, the mom of two shared her hopes for expanding her family next year, and she did it with the kind of candid honesty we’ve come to adore.

“I would love to make another baby in 2025,” Trainor revealed during the interview, adding that she’s looking forward to some well-deserved rest with her family over the holidays.

Trainor and her husband, actor Daryl Sabara, are already proud parents to their two boys—Riley, 2, and Barry, who arrived earlier this year. And if there’s one thing the singer has been vocal about in her motherhood journey, it’s her deep love for her growing family.

In true Meghan Trainor fashion, the Grammy winner’s motherhood moments are refreshingly real. From sharing stories about pregnancy woes (“I was bleeding that day. Yeah, I’m very open with my family. I’m on my period now. And thank you so much for asking”) to celebrating every milestone with her little ones, Trainor is as open about her life as she is about her lyrics. And we’re here for all of it.

But it’s not all just late-night diaper changes and lullabies for the “All About That Bass” singer. Between tours, TV appearances, and bringing out celebrity friends like Jimmy Fallon for special performances, Trainor has been booked and busy. “He texted me months ago and was like, ‘Jingle Ball, you and me?’ And I was like, ‘yes, please.’”

Yet, family is still front and center for her. “I filmed it already, but it’s coming,” Trainor said about a New York holiday event, referencing how she balances work while staying prepared for family time.

So, will 2025 be the year that Trainor adds another little Trainor-Sabara to her growing squad? If her dreams come true (and honestly, when do they not?), it sounds like baby No. 3 might just be on the way.

And for all of us moms who also have our hearts set on growing our families—whether it’s next year or further down the road—Trainor’s openness is a reminder that dreaming about what comes next can be pretty magical, too.

Here’s to Trainor’s  growing family, and all the love that 2025 might bring.
