Princess Lilibet heard for first time as Meghan Markle shares intimate family video

Princess Lilibet’s voice can be heard for first time in an intimate family video shared by the Duchess of Sussex.

Meghan revealed her dog Guy had sadly passed away in an Instagram video, featuring a compilation of family photos and clips.

Meghan's Instagram post on Tuesday, 7 January, included photos of Prince Harry and her beagle, who was treated by Supervet Dr Noel Fitzpatrick for a "terrible accident" shortly before Meghan moved to the UK.

Paying tribute to Guy, Meghan said she had cried "the type of tears that make you get in the shower with the absurd hope that the running water on your face will somehow make you not feel them.”

Meghan, wife of King Charles' younger son Prince Harry, adopted the beagle in Canada in 2015 when she was an actress working on the TV show "Suits" and before she had met her future royal husband. In a post on Instagram which was accompanied by photos and videos of Guy with Meghan and Harry and their two children Archie and Lilibet, the Duchess said she was devastated by the loss and thanked her pet "for so many years of unconditional love".

The Duchess of Sussex has said she is "devastated" by the death of one of her dogs. Meghan shared the news about the death of her beagle Guy, who she adopted in 2015, in an Instagram post on Monday. In a montage of pictures, Guy can be seen at Meghan's side and with her husband the Duke of Sussex and their children, Archie and Lili.
