Meghan Markle's Hair Colourist Reveals How She Transformed The Royal’s Look
What better way to liven up the dreary winter than by putting a fresh new spin on your hair? It seems Meghan Markle thought it was the perfect time for a touch-up, and we just got all the details on her transformed hair do, thanks to a new Instagram post from her hair colour specialist, Kadi Lee.
The Duchess of Sussex seemingly wanted something rich and warm for her recent trip to Canada with husband Prince Harry. So she went for a chocolate chestnut brunette colour, courtesy of Highbrow Hippie in California (run by Lee and Myka Harris). Previously, the royal’s hair was a darker chocolate brown; this new hue has slight auburn undertones.
'This mixture of red and golden undertones makes a dynamic shade of brunette that not only gives skin the healthiest glow, especially during the colder months of winter, it also provides the hair with a next-level high-power shine,' Lee wrote on Instagram.

Meghan sported the colour while attending the 2025 Invictus Games One Year to Go training camp with her husband. Founded by Harry in 2014, the games are an international multi-sport event for wounded, injured, and sick armed forces members, whether currently serving or veterans. There have been six Invictus Games so far. Next year’s first-ever winter games will take place in Vancouver and Whistler, in British Columbia.
On last weekend’s trip, the royals were spotted at the Whistler Sliding Centre, where they learned more about the sport of skeleton—one of the new winter sports coming to the games in 2025. It was there that Meghan unveiled her striking new locks. Not only was the colour quite rich, the duchess was also rocking a bouncy blowout, courtesy of Highbrow Hippie hairstylist Hector (@hectorsworldd on Instagram).
