Meghan Markle's baby shower, held in New York City last month, was very much a celebrity affair. A-listers including Amal Clooney, Serena Williams and Abigail Spencer attended the get-together, reportedly held in The Mark hotel's Penthouse suite. Meghan even arrived in the city in a private jet, which is thought to have been financed by Amal. Royal author Anna Pasternak thought it was "in very poor taste." Speaking on Yahoo UK's 'The Royal Box', Pasternak adds: "You can’t have it both ways, I think you cannot on the one hand, say to the people, ‘save the planet,’ and then be revving up a massive carbon footprint going for a lavish baby shower in New York, I don’t think it looks good and I don’t think it’s appropriate."
