The Duchess of Sussex is to be reunited with her breath-taking Givenchy wedding dress in a new ITV documentary, which looks at Queen’s devotion to the Commonwealth.

In the first episode of ‘Queen of The World’ we see Meghan reunited with her bridal gown and veil for the first time since her wedding day in May, as it’s prepared for a new exhibition at Windsor Castle.

The former actress wowed the world in her pure white silk dress with bateau neckline, designed by Clare Waight Keller of Givenchy. Her veil, which measured five metres, featured hand-embroidered flora to represent each of the 53 nations in the Commonwealth.

Meghan has been by her husband Prince Harry’s side as he’s attended engagements in his new role as Commonwealth Youth Ambassador.

The pair are heading out on a royal tour of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga next month with an emphasis on connecting young people across the Commonwealth.

The ITV documentary filmed the royal family over a year and will offer a behind-the-scenes look into their lives and the work they do.

The focus of the two-part series will be on the Queen, her role as an important figure on the global stage, and how she is helping younger members of the royal family connect with the Commonwealth.

Queen Of The World starts on 25 September, 9pm, ITV
