Prince Harry are Meghan Markle are the stars of new series of photos, published as part of Time 100 Most Influential People of 2021 list, marking the first time the couple have formally posed together for a magazine cover shoot.

In one of the photos, which were released to coincide with the Duke of Sussex’s 37th birthday on Wednesday, the pair look directly into the camera, with Prince Harry placing a hand on his wife’s shoulder. Photographer Pari Dukovic is the mastermind behind the stunning pictures.

In the snap the 37-year-old wears a black shirt and trousers, while the mother-of-two stuns in a white jumpsuit, accessorised with a gold bracelet and three rings. The US-born former actor’s hair is worn in a loose wave.

In another image, Prince Harry is dressed in a green suit, while the Duchess of Sussex is dressed in a co-ordinated ensemble consisting of a khaki-coloured rollneck jumper and high-waisted trousers. Markle mixed up her hairstyle for the second photo, opting to wear it pulled back into a tight bun, with loose tendrils to shape her face.

A further photo sees the couple dressed in their all-green outfits walking through a woodland area together. The photo is reminiscent of the pair's visit to Redwoods Tree Walk in Rotorua, New Zealand during their first royal tour since their wedding in 2018.

A profile, written by World Central Kitchen founder Jose Andres accompanies the snaps and, in part, reads: ‘In a world where everyone has an opinion about people they don't know, the Duke and Duchess have compassion for the people they don't know. They don't just opine. They run toward the struggle.’

The Sussexes have long been supported of the World Central Kitchen. Earlier this year the pair’s Archewell Foundation partnered with the non-profit organisation to help supports its efforts to feed vulnerable individuals around the world following natural disasters.

For the Time 100 Most Influential People of 2021 list the royal couple are joined by six other cover stars including British actor Kate Winslet, US gymnast and Olympic winner Simone Biles, director-general of the World Trade Organization Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, writer Cathy Park Hong and CEO of NVIDIA Jensen Huang.

To mark the royal’s 37th birthday, several of his royal family members took to social media to celebrate his big day, including the Queen, his father the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
