So 2019 is upon us, which means it’s almost the year Meghan Markle and Prince Harry become parents to probably (definitely) the cutest baby I’ve ever laid my eyes on.

But while I can’t stop thinking about the moment Meghan leaves the hospital with the latest member of the royal family, now the Duchess of Sussex has given fans a pretty exciting update about her pregnancy.

During her adorable Christmas day stroll with Harry and in-laws Kate Middleton and Prince William, Meghan got chatting to a crowd of people gathering to see them pass through.

When one extra eager fan quizzed her on whether she was excited to give birth, Meghan reportedly responded, "We're nearly there”, which means the Duke and Duchess could be welcoming their little one a lot sooner than we all thought.

While Kensington Palace hasn't released specific details about when Harry and Meghan's first child will be born, they have confirmed they will become parents in spring 2019.

And if we’re getting technical about it, the first day of spring is March 20th - which - unfortunately - is still three whole months away.

Elsewhere in royal news, during the same Christmas day outing, Meghan and Kate put rumours of a rift to bed when they were spotted at the St Mary Magdalene church in Sandringham looking full of festive cheer.

This comes after the Queen's former chef Darren McGrady revealed some interesting info about how the Royals spent December 25th.

Speaking to the Mail on Sunday, he said that the men of the family always eat together at 8:30am.

"On Christmas Day, the ladies generally opt for a light breakfast of sliced fruit, half a grapefruit, toast and coffee delivered to their rooms," he explained.

However, "male royals, meanwhile, come downstairs to the dining room for a hearty breakfast at 8:30am with eggs, bacon and mushrooms, kippers and grilled kidneys, to set them up for the 11am church service at St Mary Magdalene," he added.

I wonder if Meg and Haz are in the same post-Christmas wine/carb coma as the rest of us?
