Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attended the annual WellChild Awards on Tuesday night, which took place at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.

The new parents walked hand-in-hand into the ceremony that praised the courage of seriously ill children, along with those who support them and make a difference to their lives.

For the occasion Meghan rewore a poignant item in her wardrobe: her engagement dress.

The forest green fitted midi dress with bow detail was by Italian brand, Parosh, and hasn’t been worn by Meghan since the couples photo call at Kensington Palace, which took place following their engagement announcement in November 2017.

Although the dress was mostly covered up by a cream wrap coat by Canadian brand Line The Label, the dress was more clearly visable in the BBC interview that took place later that day.

Recreating her engagement look even further, Meghan opted for a similar nude-hued wrap coat, this time by Canadian luxury outerwear company Sentaler. The item was previously worn by the 38-year-old during her first Christmas Day with the British Royal Family in December 2017.

Meghan, however, did restyle the look for the awards ceremony by leaving the coat undone and accessing with a new trendy handbag.

The new season tortoiseshell bag with a floral print scarf strap was by Montunas and is still available to purchase for £365.

The brand was founded by model-turned-designer Elke Ruge 25 years ago and is a celebration of Costa Rica and London, inspired by the women behind the brand.

The label is now run by Ruge and her two daughters Amanda and Elena Hawila, who create acrylic pieces and satin pouches with distinct scarf and rope handles.
