Meghan and Harry's tour of Colombia: in pictures
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have just completed a four-day tour of Colombia, at the invite of the country's vice president Francia Márquez. In a statement confirming the four-day visit prior to their arrival, Marquez said she was “pleased” that Colombia will be hosting Meghan and Harry for the excursion, which will “illuminate Colombia's role as a beacon of culture and innovation”.
During their trip, the couple spent time in the country's capital, Bogotá, as well as the Caribbean and Pacific regions of Cartagena and Cali for various engagements – including school visits, empowerment and tech safety panels, lunches and dinners with local leaders and representatives, and an Invictus Games training session.
The agenda of the trip focused on key aspects of the Archewell Foundation’s priorities, as well as the Sussexes’ philanthropic endeavours, including highlighting the military community, cyberbullying, and female empowerment.
Here, we bring you highlights from their trip so far:
Day four
Meghan and Harry wrapped up their tour with an appearance at the Petronio Music Festival in Cali, alongside vice president Francia Marquez and her partner Rafael Yerney Pinillo. Meghan wore a drop-waist maxi dress by the Colombian designer Andres Otalora, while Harry opted for a blue short-sleeved shirt and navy trousers.

That afternoon, the couple visited El Vallado recreational unit to learn more about Jóvenes por Cali, a community group that works to cultivate social change in their city.

Meghan kept her styling casual in a white Anine Bing t-shirt, a simple embroidered skirt by the Colombian designer Juan de Dios, gold earrings by the Colombian jewellery brand Álvaro Ávila, and her trusty pair of flat Stuart Weitzman sandals. Harry co-ordinated with his wife in complementing white and cream shades, with tan shoes.
Day four
The morning of their final day, Meghan and Harry attended the 'Afro-Descendant Women and Power: Voices of Equity' summit, which featured Afro-Colombian women leaders across industries speaking on the daily challenges that they face due to racism, gender bias and financial discrimination.

Meghan wore a white sleeveless shirt from Mango, a sequin embroidered pencil skirt from the Colombian designer Silvia Tcherassi, magenta Manolo Blahnik heels, and a pair of gold earrings – which were a special gift from Márquez, handmade by artisans in the Chocó region of Colombia.

On the third day of their visit, Harry and Meghan landed in Cartagena. Meghan opted for a camisole and matching skirt by the Colombian designer Johanna Ortiz, styled with a white wide-brim hat. Harry wore a blue shirt and beige slacks.

The couple toured Escuela Tambores de Cabildo, a local musical school based in the city of Cartagena that trains young people in the art of traditional African drumming.

They met with the school's founder, Rafael Ramos, to participate in a drum lesson and performance with students.

Francia Marquez introduced the couple to the local school community. They then learnt about the significance of programs that help preserve Cartagena's Afro-Colombian culture and roots — especially amid growing gentrification in the city.

They then paid a visit to the village of San Basilio de Palenque, known for historically being the first 'free town' for Africans in the Americas.

The couple dressed casually in light-coloured separates. Meghan wore a knitted tank top by Argent with a white linen skirt by Posse and a wide-brim hat from the Colombia-based brand Hannia Char.

The couple visited Colegio La Giralda in Bogotá on the second day of their trip. Meghan wore a Loro Piana blazer over a white shirt and cropped trousers, with Chanel ballet flats, while Harry opted for a light blue Luca Faloni shirt and sage green Mott & Bow trousers.

They spent time there meeting with the young students, as well as visiting an art class and helping to plant trees in the school's garden.
