He may have earned his modelling stripes striking a pose in campaigns for Hermès, Moschino, Reiss, Replay and Lee Jeans, but it’s Isaac Carew’s skills in the kitchen that are causing a stir.
In fact there hasn’t been this much buzz about a chef since a ‘naked’ Jamie Oliver burst onto our screens way back when. But Jamie better hold onto his spatula because there’s a new chef on the chopping block and he’s gunning for his top chef’s hat.

Originally starting out as a cook alongside esteemed chef Angela Hartnett, the 29-year-old Londoner was forced to put his culinary training on hold when he was scouted as a model in his early 20s.
But after years as one of the UK’s most successful male models he’s picked up the wooden spoon again, launching his website, The Dirty Dishes and YouTube channel, which are both dedicated to delish, yet simple food, we can all tackle. And Instagrammers can’t get enough of him, or his food.
‘I’ve been into food since I was a little kid,’ he told Femail. 'Both my dad and my godfather are chefs so it was a natural road to go down growing up I also studied catering for two years I just have a pure love for food and flavours.
'The Dirty Dishes is a place to find healthy, tasty dishes that can be cooked by anyone with a little knowledge around a kitchen.’

And while many male models exist on a diet of kale and beetroot smoothies, Isaacs recipes are more comforting than calorie-cutting and include classic British grub like mac ‘n’ cheese and rhubarb and apple crumble. Yum!

So, how does the model-turned-chef feel about being touted as the new Jamie Oliver?
'Jamie’s not a bad looking guy so I’ll let others be the judge on that one! But I would love to have that kind of foodie empire,’ he said.
