There's not much better than curling up with a great book - and you can't beat a thriller for keeping you reading until the small hours!

From Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot series to Paul Hawkins' Girl on the Train, women authors are behind some of the best crime fiction and thrillers out there.

If you're a fan, join Good Housekeeping’s Books Editor Jo Finney as she speaks to three best-selling authors on our panel: Paula Hawkins, Lisa Jewell and Karin Slaughter.

Paula Hawkins is best-known as the author of million-copy hit The Girl On The Train and has since written a further two books, including her latest A Slow Fire Burning.

Lisa Jewell has a run of best-sellers to her name, including thriller, The Night She Disappeared.

Meanwhile, Karin Slaughter is an American author who has sold 35 million copies of her books across the globe. Her latest thriller Girl, Forgotten is out this June.

Expect to hear about how they craft their gripping plots and keep the reader on the edge of their seat until the final reveal. Plus, discover where they find the inspiration for their stories.

The talk, which is part of GH LIVE in partnership with Dyson, a three-day festival of events in London, is on Friday 24 June.

The event will take place in the elegant setting of Carlton House Terrace, beautifully scented by Zoflora, in the heart of London's St James's.

Tickets cost £80 and include the talk, two drinks tokens and access to the GH Live House including the coffee and Champagne bar as well as a special 100th anniversary goody bag to take home.

Throughout the day, loyal readers will also get the chance to meet and chat to the Good Housekeeping's team about life inside their favourite magazine and take part in pop-up tastings as well as style demonstrations.

Book early to make sure you are part of the celebrations.
