A python nicely tucked inside a toilet gave snake catchers a hard time recently, when the traditional approach failed and they had to go that extra mile to retrieve it.Drew Godfrey, of Hervey Bay Snake Catchers, told Storyful that he and his colleagues were called for “a coastal carpet python down a toilet”.Initially going for the usual approach of trying to pull the reptile out of the bowl, the catchers ended up having to saw the pipe to flush it out.“Pain in the a** you are, snake … You’re in trouble snakey. Had to cut the pipe out and everything,” one of the snake catchers says when the team finally get the snake out. This was not the end of the trouble for this customer though, who had to call the catchers again two days later for another python. Fortunately, the second lodger, though much bigger, was much easier to dislodge. Credit: Hervey Bay Snake Catchers via Storyful
