McDonald's is once again ready to welcome all Pokémon Trainers with open arms.

On Tuesday, the fast food giant announced the arrival of the new Pokémon Happy Meal, which is now available at its restaurants nationwide.

“There’s nothing more exciting than when we can bring campaigns to our fans with partners that we’re fans of ourselves,” Guillaume Huin, the senior marketing director at McDonald's, shared in a statement. “Much like they do for McDonald’s, our fans have deep nostalgia and love for the Pokémon brand. We’re thrilled to build on those great memories and create a new moment of fun and happiness with the new Pokémon Happy Meal.”

As for what comes in the Happy Meal, McDonald's explained that they each include a "Pokémon TCG booster pack featuring four of 15 available Pokémon TCG cards, a Pokémon poster, and one sticker sheet to decorate the poster." But it's not just the inside that's cool. The Happy Meal boxes are also decked out in one of four Pokémon-themed designs featuring Charizard, Pikachu & Dragonite together, Rayquaza, and Roaring Moon.

There is also one way to go even deeper into the Pokémon universe. If you purchase the Happy Meal via the McDonald's app, you can also unlock an in-game bonus for the Pokémon TCG Pocket app. Fans will get a one-time redeemable code to unlock 24 pack hourglasses and 12 wonder hourglasses, which McDonald's explained can be used to "open two digital booster packs and select one randomized digital card as part of the Wonder Pick feature."

But that's not all. In case you missed it, in December, McDonald's revealed it was opening its stores to become PokéStops or Gyms, where trainers could "encounter Pokémon attracted by Lure Modules … and participate in five-star raids." At the time, McDonald's explained that the Lure Modules and Raid Battles will be active from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time each day during the following weeks:

  • Monday, January 20, to Sunday, January 26, 2025

  • Monday, February 10, to Sunday, February 16, 2025

  • Monday, March 10, to Sunday, March 16, 2025

So, if you want in on the fun, head to your nearest McDonald's soon to get the limited-time Happy Meal and see if you can catch 'em all.
