Now that we've got savoury items ticked off, it's time to indulge your sweet tooth. A new Skittles McFlurry is coming to McDonald's around the UK.

The soft dairy ice cream is swirled with chewy Skittles fudge pieces and sugary pearls, before it's topped with purple Skittles-flavoured sauce. Alternatively, tuck into chocolatey and fruity flavours.

The Galaxy Chocolate and Raspberry Pie is making its debut at £1.99. It's a lovely balance of crispy chocolate pastry filled with smooth chocolate ganache and a raspberry compote.

Then we have the return of a fan-favourite – the Galaxy Caramel McFlurry. It's priced at £2.19 and great to enjoy on a hot summer's day.

Also returning, just in time for the warmer weather, is the fast food chain's Ice Latte for £2.49.

Fans rushed to comment on the new and returning products after being shared by New Foods UK. One said: "The pie and McFlurry look good."

Another added: "Iced latte thank the lord." And a third gushed: "Omg chocolate and raspberry pie, we need to try."

Others weren't convinced by the new additions though. A critic said: "So confused about the McFlurry." And another agreed: "A Skittles McFlurry is tragic."

A third wrote: "The pie and McFlurry sound awful." And a fourth confused commenter questioned: "Isn't the burger just a triple quarter pounder?"
