McDonald's Just Revealed The Prizes For This Year's Monopoly Game

McDonald’s Monopoly is the highlight of the year for a lot of British people. Forget Christmas. Who cares about Valentine’s Day? Easter? Pffft. It’s all about winning those prizes on McDonald’s Monopoly.

So, you can imagine how we reacted to finding out the long-awaited game was making a return as soon as September... Yep! We were just as excited as you're about to be.

Sharing a teaser on the fast food chain's social media channels, a short video was framed with the phrase, "Keep your eyes double-peeled," with the caption "Something special is coming in September."

This new Double Peel will allow participants to double their gameplay through the McDonald's App. That means you'll get to double your chances of winning, people.

When will McDonald’s Monopoly start?

This year it's been confirmed that we can expect to see McDonald's Monopoly begin on Wednesday 7 September 2022.

How does McDonald's Monopoly work?

Much like the iconic board game, McDonald's Monopoly works by giving customers the chance to collect game pieces. The game pieces are the stickers attached to the different McDonald's menu items. Once you collect a complete set, you're either entitled to a free price, or receive an "Instant Win" entitling you to claim your winnings right away, from a local McDonald's branch.
