Maya Jama is a multi-millionaire after huge year following Stormzy split
She's a regular on our TV screens and has amassed a huge fanbase over recent years, and it seems Maya Jama's success has now officially made her a multi-millionaire. The star has seen her earnings increase immensely over the past few months, with her now said to boast a net worth of just under £2 million.
Maya, 30, has seen her income increase by almost £500,000, new figures for her MIJ & Co Entertainment firm show. The figure has risen from £1.37million to £1.83million, The Sun reports. She looks to have doubled her earnings, banking £1.3m in the last 12 months - a rise of £618,774 from the previous year. The new finance documents, dated from 31 January 2023 to 31 January 2024, shows Maya's combination of TV, beauty and fashion work has proven to be very lucrative.
Maya became the host of ITV2's Love Island in 2023, marking a huge step in her TV presenting career. She reportedly takes home £750,000 per series of Love Island. The star earned over £50,000 for co-hosting this year's BRIT Awards, and she was also a member of the Comic Relief presenting line-up this year.

Away from TV, Maya has bagged numerous big deals with huge brands. She replaced Kate Moss as the face of Rimmel London in March 2023, saying it was an "honour" to take on the new role at the time.
The 30-year-old also reportedly took home a six-figure sum for her deal with hair brand Beauty Works and thousands of pounds for starring in campaigns for the likes of Self Portrait, Maybelline, Adidas, and Gordon’s Gin. Her other career highs include gracing the cover of British Vogue in July and being the face of Dolce & Gabbana’s A/W 23/24 collection.
Maya, who purchased a home in London last November, was previously in a high-profile relationship with rapper Stormzy, but sadly the pair called it quits for good earlier this year. The duo, who first dated over 10 years ago, announced their break-up in a sad statement.
Maya said: "We decided to try for the final time in August 2023, and we've spent this past year trying our best to make it work; however, we recently decided to call it quits."
She went on to add: "We still think the absolute world of each other, we still care and respect each other, we are still grateful for the time we've had together, and we are still friends and will always be friends (so if you see us having a lil catch-up at The Brits or something, don't cause a fuss, we are dawgs!)."
