Maya Jama branded 'Halloween queen' as she transforms into Beetlejuice
Maya Jama has shown off her Halloween look for 2024 - and she looks completely unrecognisable. The Love Island host, who has previously dressed up as X-Men’s Storm and a granny for her annual star-studded Halloween party, has finally revealed this year’s look and fans already can’t get enough of it.
In an Instagram post, Maya, 30, revealed that she’d dressed up as Beetlejuice for this year’s spooky celebration. Transforming herself into the iconic character, Maya sported a statement oversized blazer dress which featured Beetlejuice’s signature black and white stripes. Underneath the dress, the TV personality sported a black tie and crisp white shirt.
To complete the look, Maya also opted for some sheer tights as well as some knee-high grey and white striped socks. In homage to Beetlejuice’s vibrant hair, she wore a bright green wig which she styled in curls.

“Beetlejuice’s Unruly Niece,” she wrote. “Happy Halloweeeeen SO EXCITED FOR TONIGHT”. Reposting the post on her Instagram Story, Maya added: “Beetlejuice was one of my favourite films growing up & I wanted to be his sidekick so bad”.

In response to the snaps, fans of Maya rushed to the comments section where they gushed over her incredible transformation. “QUEEN OF HALLOWEEN AKA MAYAOWEEN,” wrote one. “Didn’t come to play!!!!,” another added.
“Omggggg the best Halloween costume I’ve ever seen in my life,” commented a third. “AHHHH this is everything have the best night,” a fourth added.
Maya’s movie look comes as celebs from across the world of showbiz have shown off their spooky Halloween looks. Among those who have already got dressed up, Paris Fury, Ashley Roberts and Kylie Jenner are some of the stars who have gone all out for this year’s celebrations.
Meanwhile, Coronation Street star Catherine Tyldesley made her costume a family affair, as she donned a black wig to become Morticia Addams from The Addams Family while her adorable two year old daughter Iris dressed as Wednesday Addams.
Elsewhere, more famous faces celebrated Halloween a day early as they headed to London in their costumes last night for the star-studded KISS Haunted House Party at Outernet. Among those in attendance were Princess Andre, Marvin Humes and Neil Jones who showcased their best Halloween looks, as well as Katie Price and beau JJ Slater who turned heads as a sexy skeleton and body-painted devil.
