Maura Higgins reunites with Pete Wicks after I'm A Celeb jungle as couple pose together in fancy London hotel
Maura Higgins and Pete Wicks have reunited in London following weeks of speculation about their relationship. The duo were pictured together at a hotel in London on Wednesday night, just hours after Maura returned to the UK from her stint on I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in Australia.
In the cosy photo, Maura, 34, is seen smiling as she holds a glass of wine in the hotel, surrounded by a group of friends. Rumoured beau Pete, 36, can be seen standing behind Maura in the intimate gathering, looking down at the I’m A Celeb star. Maura didn’t waste any time reuniting with Pete and her pals on her return to the UK, either, with the get together happening the same day she touched down from Oz at Heathrow airport.
The hotel reunion, which her friend shared on Instagram, took place at the the 5-star luxury hotel ME London, on London’s Strand, and featured jungle-themed decorations to mark Maura’s homecoming.

Maura had recently hinted at her romance with Pete during her time in the jungle that she had been “seeing someone” before entering the show, though she clarified that they were not in a committed relationship. Opening up about their first date to I’m A Celeb co-star Oti Mabuse in a clip shown on spin-off show I'm A Celebrity... Unpacked, Maura revealed that he had pursued her for a while, saying: “He wouldn't give up.”
She added, the Mirror reports: "I actually brought my friends with me and I was like 'See! It is a friendship date… Then the next time I went just me."
The reunion follows Pete’s elimination from Strictly Come Dancing earlier this week, where he reached the semi-final stage with professional partner Jowita Przystal. Pete has been open in his support for Maura during her time on I’m A Celeb, sharing emotional messages of support for her with his followers on social media, and encouraging fans to vote for her.
This isn’t the first time the two have fuelled romance rumours at a hotel - in August, they were seen sharing a kiss at the Broadwick Soho Hotel in London , and in October, they were reportedly seen kissing at an after party for the Pride of Britain awards at London’s luxury Grosvenor House Hotel.
Meanwhile, Pete recently revealed his sad reason for not settling down before, amid the romance rumours with Maura. Speaking to Olivia Attwood on her podcast, on the topic of his failed past relationships, the former TOWIE star admitted: "I do feel like I'm now at a different stage of my life.
"I'm an older man now than when I was younger and a complete p***k." He added: "I don't want to die alone."
