Married At First Sight Australia comes to an end on Monday with a reunion episode, which sees season six's contestants come together for one final time to look back on their experience and gain some closure on the experiment.

As the show was actually filmed in 2019, the cast have also been reminiscing about the series on social media, sharing their thoughts and feelings with UK fans who are watching it for the first time.

First came Sam Ball's admissions that the whole show was fake. Then Jessika Powers revealed all sorts of details about whether the cast are paid. And now? Mike Gunner, who was paired with Heidi Latcham during the experiment, has explained his biggest regret from the show.

Speaking to OK! Magazine this week, he explained that a comment he made comparing the men and women in the experiment was taken out of context and reflected badly about him. "Now they cut that up to make it out to sound like I said 'men handle pressure better than women,' and that just sounded like a real stab at gender and that really annoyed me," he commented.

"So that’s a regret. I should’ve literally just have said nothing. [I was] pissed.. that's really not how it happened."

Despite Heidi and Mike's marriage looking positive in the beginning, the pair eventually went their separate ways after a bumpy ride. The 45-year-old electrician is now dating someone else, Sonja Marcelline.
