Married At First Sight star shows off one stone weight loss as she poses in swimsuit
Married At First Sight UK’s Lacey Martin, who is starring in the current series of the dating show, has shared photos from her holiday in Crete on social media, revealing her one stone weight loss following the end of filming. She also included a photo showing off her new tattoo that features the words “I am enough” with a heart over the “I”.
The 27 year old office manager also captioned the photos, in which she looked stunning in a black swimsuit, thanking her fans for their comments on her appearance. “Aww thank you so much! I’ve lost a stone since mafs! My main problem is food! I've cut my portion sizes! And more exercises! I’ve recently got back into my dancing but to me it was mainly the food, I was having huge portions. I’m a huge foody!”
Lacey has been paired on the show with 24 year old engineer Nathan, and fans have yet to discover whether the couple are still together at the end of the series. However, some of Lacey’s followers worried that she was with another man in her holiday snaps – until it was pointed out that the ‘other man’ was actually her dad, and she was visiting the Greek island with her entire family, including her twin sister.

Most recently in the show, fans of Lacey and Nathan have had another reason to be concerned, following in-laws week. Viewers were less than impressed with Lacey’s mum Maxine when she visited the newlyweds at their apartment and proceeded to cook chicken fajitas, even though Nathan is a vegetarian. To make matters worse, she then went on to quiz Nathan about his relationship with her daughter.

On X, the platform previously known as Twitter, viewers let rip into Maxine's conduct. One user exclaimed: "I don't think I like Lacey's mum, she's just rude. And I think she forgets they've [her and Nathan] just met. Plus how has she never met a vegetarian," while a second viewer commented: "If that was going to be my mother in law I'd leave and never turn back." A third added: "#MAFSUK Well done. You've just given Nathan a glimpse of how his potential mother in law behaves. Congratulations on jeopardising your daughter's relationship."
Maxine isn’t the only in-law who MAFS fans are concerned about. Viewers watching fellow groom Ross being grilled by his wife Sasha’s formidable father in the episode on Tuesday 8 October were quick to send out warnings, too. “Poor Ross,” commented one viewer. “I’d be genuinely terrified if he was my father-in-law,” while another simply said “Run, Ross, run!”
