Marnie Simpson and Casey Johnson expecting second child

Reality stars Marnie Simpson and Casey Johnson are expecting their second child.

The Geordie Shore star and former Union J singer, who got engaged in August 2020, are expecting a sibling for their two-year-old son Rox in May 2022.

"We're so excited and super happy. It was a bit of a shock but we're just so thrilled!" she told OK! magazine, revealing that they were planning to try for another baby after she finished filming a TV show in September. However, she had experienced pregnancy symptoms during the shoot so took a test when she returned home and it came back positive.

The 29-year-old, who is 13 weeks pregnant, admitted to the publication that this pregnancy has been much tougher than her first.

"I can't even explain how horrendous it's been. I feel sick all day, every day. I've been sick out of the car window three or four times!" she shared. "This time around I feel like death. With Rox, I felt so healthy and glowing and I was a ray of sunshine, but this time I genuinely feel like the walking dead.

"I was never going to be that lucky again. I'm older and my body has never been the same since having Rox so I think it was always going to happen. All I can eat is bread, rice, and pasta."

The couple had to postpone their wedding due to the pandemic but they are now hoping to tie the knot in the summer.

"Before, we were going to do it quite big, but now we just want to be married," Marnie said. "I just want to be a Johnson and have the same name as everyone else. I'm not someone who would mind getting married while pregnant or soon after. I don't mind if they conflict."
