What we're shopping in the M&S Cyber Monday sale
Marks and Spencer is having a good year. Its own-brand fashion ranges, from M&S Collection to Autograph, have become sought after by fashion insiders for their mix of quality, style and affordability. It's now stocking a range of beloved British brands, including Jaeger, which is fronted by Claudia Winkleman. Then there have been the designer and A-list collaborations, from Bella Freud to Sienna Miller.
Over in homeware, it's a similarly positive story with those sell-out M&S Collection checkerboard lamps and light shades, and a luxurious range with interior designer Kelly Hoppen.
It's not slouching in the beauty department either, stocking cult brands including Prai, Colour Wow and Floral Street.

Does M&S take part in the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales?
While the official line is that M&S doesn't take part in Black Friday or Cyber Monday, it always offers discounts over the key weekend (just a coincidence, we're sure).
That includes 25% off Nobody's Child, White Stuff and Finery and 30% off LK Bennett. There's also up to 40% off selected homeware, including rugs, lamps, duvets, pan sets and towels. In beauty, you can get up to 50% off selected gift sets, while there are significant savings on children's toys.

When is Black Friday 2024?
Black Friday always falls on the last Friday of November. It originated in the US and takes place on the bank holiday after Thanksgiving. This year, it falls on 29 November and will run until midnight on Cyber Monday on 2 December.
