Marks and Spencer has remained a British wardrobe staple for decades.
However, in recent years, the retailer has struggled - particularly with its clothing department. Despite collaborations with A-lister names including Holly Willoughby and model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, a decline in sales has lead to 120 stores closing and, most recently, losing its spot in the Financial Times’ Stock Exchange 100 Index for the first time.
