Mark Wright broke his silence today after the bombshell announcement last night that he and wife Michelle Keegan are having their first baby together. The pair, who are celebrating a decade of marriage next year, revealed their happy news last night with a picture of them together on the beach shared to both their Instagram accounts with the caption: "2025 is going to be a special one for us" followed by an emoji of a baby.

TV star Mark, 37, today followed it up with a video that began with the words: "We have been on quite a journey..." But if any of his followers were hoping for an update on the pregnancy and his year with Michelle, they might have been disappointed, with the former Towie star popping up doing exercises alongside his footballer brother Josh in a promo for their Live Wright fitness product. However, fans had plenty to say about the baby in the comments.

It's not known how far along Michelle, also 37, is or when the baby is likely to arrive, but they have dropped some hints about the name in the past. In fact, Mark asked Robbie Williams if it would be OK to use the former Take That star's daughter's name, Theodora, live on the radio.

Mark said: "I've got something to ask you actually, in case this happens. Me and my wife, we're not trying for kids yet, I'm gonna state that, however we hopefully one day will have kids and she loves both Teddy and Theodora.

"She saw a picture I think of you and the family and said: 'Oh I love that name so much.' I'm asking you, if it comes to it and she wants to call the kid Theodora or Teddy, are you gonna be alright with that?" Robbie breezily replied it it was fine.

In his post today Mark promised anyone hoping to get fit in the coming months that Live Wright - the workouts and coaching business they started in lockdown - had been stepped up a gear. He wrote: "We’ve been on such a journey with Live Wright. Starting in lockdown, instagram workouts, creating a community, live events and coaching so many of you to achieve your goals.

Now we are launching a levelled up version of the original Live Wright. We’re stripping it back: killer workouts, simple nutrition (that tastes unreal) at accessible prices."

Mark's sister Jess was among those offering their congratulations in the video's comments. She wrote simply: "So proud of you boys."
