Mark Wahlberg puts Liam Payne through his paces in gruelling gym session
Actor and businessman Mark Wahlberg has been working out with singer Liam Payne, months after revealing his regimented health and fitness routine.
The Pain and Gain star previously stated that he wakes up every day at 2.30am, before completing his first workout of the day by 5.15am.
On Thursday, singer Payne revealed that he was more than up to the challenge of trying to keep up with fitness fanatic Wahlberg in the gym, when he shared a video on Instagram of the pair working out together.
In the video, which was captured at a branch of HIIT gym studio F45, 25-year-old Payne and 47-year-old Wahlberg worked up as a sweat as they lifted dumbbells, weight plates and barbells, alongside several other gym-goers.
"So good training with @markwahlberg yesterday, great to see you man," Payne wrote in the Instagram caption.

The One Direction singer was dressed in an all-black Nike ensemble for the workout, while Wahlberg opted for a white T-shirt, camo shorts and an F45 cap.
During their fitness session, the Entourage producer hinted that there was a significant reason behind their joint gym workout.
"This guy's training for something special, watch out for it," Wahlberg stated, gesturing towards Payne.
The "Familiar" singer recently revealed that he'd auditioned for a role in Steven Spielberg's upcoming West Side Story remake, but didn't make the cut.
In September 2018, Wahlberg revealed his intense daily regime on his Instagram story.
The former Calvin Klein model stated that he eats his breakfast every day at 3.15am, by 7.30am is enjoying a half-an-hour round of golf, and at 9.30am undergoes cryotherapy, which involves entering a chamber that's -200 degrees Celsius.
Earlier this week, Twitter founder Jack Dorsey revealed that he follows a similarly unconventional daily routine.
The 42-year-old's day includes an ice bath at 5am, an hour of meditation every morning and evening, and regular fasts.
