A man is walking the entire UK coastline with his pet dog - a journey of 11,023 miles. Martyn Green, 37, began his mammoth trek on March 8 - 83 days ago - and has since walked 696 miles to reach his current point in Gillingham, Essex. Martyn started this endeavour after he suffered serious injuries in a violent street robbery. In December 2021, Martyn was stabbed four times in Torquay, Devon, by two men who were meeting with him to buy cannabis. The incident left him shaken up and he became isolated. After two long years, Martyn decided he couldn't carry on like this and set himself the challenge to walk the entire UK coastline with his three-year-old Collie mix, Rolo.
