Major News for Frosty Fans: Wendy's Signature Drink Just Got Better
Wendy's is no stranger to menu updates. The fast-food chain is constantly rolling out additions and changes to its menu and services to continually entice customers through its doors. Just this month, we saw Wendy's roll out its Girl Scouts Thin Mint Frosty and introduce AI at its drive-thrus, while last year we got to enjoy its limited time Orange Dreamsicle Frosty. Now, the Frosty will be even more coveted, as the chain announced in an internal memo that it will introduce the Frosty Swirl.
This new iteration of the chain's classic Frosty will allow customers to add a swirl of caramel, strawberry, or brownie batter to any Frosty flavor of their choosing. This new option will be available come April 2025, as first reported by Instagram account SodaSeekers.
Additionally, customers will also soon be able to create a Frosty Fusion, a new option that allows you to combine two frosty flavors together, along with sauces and sweet treats. Sounds a bit familiar, eh? This could just be Wendy's way of competing the McDonald's McFlurry and Dairy Queen's Blizzard. Regardless, fans seem totally psyched for this upgraded menu item.
Responses on the Instagram post were enthusiastic, with people touting: "Yessss finally 😭😭 I dont know why Wendy's didn't always do this. Fries are a grip dipper but...to have brownies or some other dessert option makes me happy."
"They indeed used to have something like this!! I started there in 2006 and we had them then:) so excited to see them come back," commented another.
"The best news of the year so far fr," wrote another.
While most people seemed excited with the news, some fans just want the chain to stick to the classic chocolate and vanilla frosties. Guess you just can't please everyone.
