A Leeds city centre hotel has enjoyed a major £440,000 upgrade.

EasyHotel has completed the upgrade of the venue in Lands Lane. The £440,000 work is part of an ongoing £6.4m investment, from the company, which started in 2023 to cut the group’s overall CO2 emissions by 25 per cent.

Karim Malak, chief executive officer of easyHotel, said: “Our Leeds hotel's low-carbon upgrade is a proud milestone on our path to becoming the leader in low-carbon, great value stays across Europe. Cutting carbon emissions helps us operate more efficiently, passing those savings to our guests while reshaping hospitality for a low-carbon future.”

We anticipate that these measures will save approximately 44 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually.”
