Married At First Sight UK star Holly Ditchfield has shared a video responding to trolls after she received a wave of backlash for her behaviour during last week's episodes of the reality show. After an episode aired last week of Holly locking horns with fellow bride Hannah Norburn during a Girls' Night Out, many accused the mother-of-two Holly of bullying Hannah.

After previously accusing Hannah of 'husband stealing', Holly reignited their drama during the Girls Night episode and accused her of flirting with groom Ryan Livesy - something which Hannah denies. Things got heated and the two ended up in a war of words, with many viewing the feud as an attack from Holly's side. And now, Holly - who was matched with Alex Henry on the show - has expressed remorse for her actions but also hit out at trolls - admitting she has been subjected to death threats and comments about her family.

"I feel like I've been really quiet the last few days, It hasn't been easy, I'm not going to lie. I have received some very horrendous messages, appalling messages, ones that have, quite frankly, made me not want to leave my house for a few days," began Holly as she detailed the extent of the online hatred.

"Regarding the girls night episode [that] everyone saw last week, I take full accountability. I could have addressed Hannah a lot calmer, I didn't need to, probably, go as hard as I did but I felt so upset about the way that things had been said off camera to myself - horrible things, to be honest."

Holly continued: "I take full accountability for blowing my lid, but one thing I don't deserve is death threats and being told to go and kill myself. At the end of the day, I did react but I reacted because of somebody's actions. I would never, ever, dream of treating somebody like that unless they really hurt me and a lot of Hannah's behaviours, I admit, did reignite my insecurities maybe. I am a very protective person of people I care about, so I love all the girls. When my children are being spoken about I am going to react and I am going to get upset."

Holly and her partner Alex made the decision to leave the experiment after a blazing row earlier in the series - with the duo appearing done when it came to forming a connection with one another.

However, the couple appear to be back together after putting on a romantic display in Manchester last week. Despite breaking up on the show, they were pictured walking hand-in-hand in Manchester before sharing a tender kiss in front of the cameras. They have also been showing support for one another on social media.
