Made In Chelsea star Lucy Watson rushes baby son to hospital following terrifying health scare
Made in Chelsea star Lucy Watson, 34, was forced to take her son Willoughby to hospital after a "scary" medical emergency. The 33-year-old, who shares her son with her husband, fellow MIC alum James Dunmore, 35 opened up on the scare to her social media followers.
Posting a picture of her son, who was cuddled up to his father James, who was reading him a story, Lucy shared: "Grateful to all be back in our beds after the last two days in hospital with baby W. Sending love to anyone with a sick child. It’s so scary, but it’s important to trust your instincts with these things.” Lucy then continued by thanking the NHS for looking after her tot. “RSV season is upon us,” she warned.
The star then posted another black and white photo of her baby son, in his cot holding a football, with tubes up his nose. "So so grateful to @newbornandbeyond for the child health and safety course we did when I was pregnant,” she penned next to her Instagram story upload.

“Honestly because of this we knew the signs to look out for. Cannot recommend enough.” Lucy and James’ eight month old son was suffering from RSV, as the star then went on to post an infographic about the virus, including symptoms, treatment and prevention.
Lucy, who is now featuring on the Made in Chelsea spin-off show with fellow alums Binky Felstead and Rosie Fortescue, gave birth to her first child in March this year.
In a sweet black and white announcement pic, which saw Lucy cradling Willoughby whilst James planted a kiss on her forehead, the couple simply penned: "he’s here. 2/3/24.”
Lucy's sister, Tiffany, who is mum to a son named Jude, took to the comment section to share her joy. She wrote: "My beautiful nephew, love him so much".
Lucy rose to fame when she joined the show in 2012, famously having relationships with Spencer Matthews and Jamie Laing. She met James three years into her stint, in 2015, with the first year of their relationship being documented on the E4 show. The pair then departed the show together in 2016 and tied the knot in 2021 with a beautiful ceremony in Greece.
Before the birth of their son, the couple had been open about the fact they had a tough time trying to fall pregnant and Lucy previously said they kept getting "bad news after bad news".
Expressing her gratitude while she was pregnant, she shared: "I am basically so grateful for where I am today. I'm pregnant with my son. Obviously I know this journey could end tomorrow, or the next day like I don't know how long this is going to last or if it if we'll make it to the end or get to the point of having a baby in arms.
“But I'm just enjoying every moment and just living for every day because we've fought to get here and we are so grateful to be here. I'm just choosing to love every moment really and it's surreal, still to this day it is surreal but it is the most amazing feeling and I really hope that anyone out there who is struggling gets to experience it too and I hope that this video has helped."
