I’m a Celeb’s Maura Higgins admits she's eaten same thing every day post jungle and has ‘no regrets’
Former Love Island star Maura Higgins has revealed what her post jungle diet has consisted of and insists she has ‘no regrets’. The star has been back on home soil since the beginning of December after her stint on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! and in a recent Instagram post, has confessed she’s eaten the same thing every night.
The Glow Up Ireland presenter captured her pre-Christmas feast during a night out, following a trip to Winter Wonderland. She posted a snapshot of a variety of foodie treats in bowls and brass saucepans, with a glass of wine peeking into the corner of her Instagram Stories snap. In her caption, the reality star revealed: "I've eaten pasta every night since the jungle. No regrets!”
It’s not the only thing Maura has indulged in as the Irish star also confessed she hit the red wine shortly after leaving the jungle. After she was eliminated from the series, Maura returned to the spin-off series, Unpacked.

Maura was discussing her time on the series with boxing legend Barry McGuigan who said: "It's fascinating being on this side, we just stuffed our faces. I had a good sleep, not sure you had a good sleep Maura. She's been drinking long into the night." Horrified, Maura turned to her jungle co-star and exclaimed: "Barry don’t tell everyone!”
Clarifying the situation to Unpacked host Joel Dommett, Maura told him she’d only ‘slept for an hour and a half’ before confirming she ‘went crazy on the food’ and had a ‘bottle of wine’.
What fans still hope to hear more about is Maura’s dating life with Pete Wicks. Whilst in the jungle, Maura confirmed she and TOWIE star Pete had been dating but that she was still ‘single’. Shortly after returning home, the pair were reunited after meeting up at a London hotel along with some other friends.
Maura opened up about her feelings towards Pete on This Morning a few weeks ago, where she told Alison Hammond: "You do forget about the cameras, and I do like to keep things private, but let's be real, I said it. I can't remember saying it, but I said the words, 'I miss him'. I do miss him, like I missed all my friends and family."
She also praised Pete's support: "Honestly, he's been so supportive, honestly. I didn't know if he was still in Strictly and I'm so proud of him, he's proud of me, and I can't wait to see him when I get back.”
