Lucy Boynton has made such an industry-spanning impact across film, TV, fashion and beauty that it's quite mind-blowing to remember she's only 27-years-old.

There was her addition to the star-studded Murder On The Orient Express cast in 2017 (alongside Dame Judi Dench, Olivia Colman and Michelle Pfeiffer) and her leading role in the Oscar-nominated film Bohemian Rhapsody playing Mary Austin, the former wife and friend of Queen frontman Freddie Mecury (portrayed by her IRL partner Rami Malek).

The transition into television followed, with casting in the second series of Modern Love for a romantic love story set on a Galway to Dublin train (starring alongside Kit Harington). Boynton also caught the eye of Ryan Murphy and appeared in both seasons of his Netflix political dramady The Politician.

And off screen, the British actor has had awards season-dominating red carpet looks winning acclaim from the fashion world and the beauty industry too, embodied by her appointment as the face of Chloé's brand new Eau de Parfum Naturelle fragrance.

To mark the launch of the perfume - which the brand says 'celebrates authentic femininity that evolves in harmony with nature' - Boynton joined ELLE UK for a game of 'Ask Me Anything' where she was quizzed on the many layers of her success and life.

Though she's had huge roles in hit films an TV shows, Boynton said that if she could play any role it would be Nicole Kidman's character Satine in Baz Luhrman's epic 2001 musical Moulin Rouge or, drawing upon her budding child actor-self's ambitions, Vada Sultenfuss (played by Anna Chlumsky) in 1992's My Girl.

When it comes to projects she has actually featured in, Boynton revealed that the Bohemian Rhapsody cast have a 'WhatsApp group that is rarely silent' and recalled her favourite outfit of Astrid's on The Politician being the pink Rachel Comey dress she wears when we first meet the character.

Discussing those *epic* ethereal red carpet beauty looks, Boynton's favourite was the multi-coloured sherbet eyeshadow look make-up artist Jo Baker created for the star at Venice Film Festival in 2019.

Away from the red carpet, Boynton always has a mini Chloé perfume in her beauty bag as well as deodorant, concealer, powder and lip tint and if she was forced to take one skincare item to a desert island?

'Sunscreen. I would really need it within the first hour of arriving so some really sensitive suncream, like factor 100.'
