Loved-up Maisie Smith shares huge life update as she gushes over ‘night of dreams’
It’s been a whirlwind few months for former EastEnders star Maisie Smith, as the popular actress finally moved in with partner, ex-Wanted star Max George after a stunning renovation of their plush Manchester home. The pair, who first met on Strictly Come Dancing have gone from strength to strength in their relationship, with plenty of memorable milestones along the way.
However, it appears Maisie now has an extra reason to smile, as she gushed over the “night of dreams” on social media, while revealing she had finally experienced her very own movie premiere! The stunning actress, 22, took to Instagram on Saturday (May 11) to offer fans a behind the scenes peek at the premiere of her new film Bermondsey Tales: Fall of the Roman Empire.
The gritty comedy-drama is based on real events and tells the story of South London crime family The Roman's as infighting, cozzers and rival firms put everything they have worked for at risk.
With a stellar cast that includes Four Weddings and a Funeral fave, John Hannah, and current EastEnders star Alan Ford, the film promises to be a fun watch for viewers - but eagle eyed fans may also recall that this isn’t Maisie’s first foray into film as she previously appeared in the Hollywood blockbuster The Other Boleyn Girl as young Elizabeth all the way back in 2006! However, crucially it is the first time she's attended the premiere for her own movie, as the actress would've been a mere five years old at the time of the previous release.
Documenting her latest outing online, Maisie shared a series of photos with fans, including a behind the scenes shot of her cuddled up to Max, as they enjoyed the festivities associated with the premiere.
For the occasion, Maisie opted to wear a stylish black mini dress with a deep plunging neckline to show off her flawless figure, meanwhile Max kept things effortlessly chic in a black button down shirt and trousers and finished with a pair of white trainers.
In another snap shared by the star, Maisie posed alongside her equally glamorous parents as they headed into the venue to celebrate the film’s release. Delighted, Maisie went on to caption the images: “A night of dreams. My very own movie premiere… such a surreal moment MUM, DAD I DID IT!!!”
Fans were loving the photos shared by the actress, with many in particular having fallen in love with Maisie’s outfit and begging the star to tell them where she had purchased it. Although the former Tiffany Butcher actress didn’t reveal the details, OK! has since tracked down the item in question and identified it as the Oh Polly Anahita dress in black, £80 here.
According to Oh Polly, the stunning LBD is the “ideal dress for the social season” and is crafted from “sumptuous satin that moulds to your figure and is uplifted with a standout bubble hem skirt” with a special corset feature to help maintain a flawless silhouette.
