We love Sara's genius photo frame idea
Sara Davies is the queen of crafting – and we love seeing the projects she's working on, including this gorgeous photo frame idea.
The Ultimate Wedding Planner star took to Instagram to show off her latest project: a stylish photo frame which can display two pictures at the same time.
Sara showed how she cut up the photos, before sticking them in strips to a piece of card folding with a concertina using a glue tape. When she popped the card in a box photo frame, you could see both photos, depending on the angle of the frame.
Sara used the Scoremaster Scoring Board to cut the photos up and make the concertina card, which can be bought from her online craft retailer Crafter's Companion.
Alongside the video, Sara wrote: "I’ve not made one of these cards in YEARS! I used to do them all the time back when I first started cardmaking – it’s super clever how you take two photos and cut them up / stick them onto a concertina’d piece of card and create this illusion effect! Honestly it’s super easy!
"I scored the card at half inch intervals (there’s that magic purple scoreboard again! You’ll see me use it a lot when I’m making cards – it’s called a Scoremaster and you’ll find it on the @crafterscompanion website) and then you trim your photo to the same size intervals and then stick them on alternatively like you can see here."
