Sara Davies is a huge crafting inspiration – and we love the simple projects she makes for her home. Her latest one is no exception: a cute tealight holder made from vellum paper, perfect for holding an LED tealight.

The Dragons' Den star took to her Instagram to show off her latest project, sharing a video in which she talked fans through how they can make it at home.

Sara uses layers of folded vellum paper to create a flower-effect tea light holder. She pops an LED tealight in the middle to finish off her craft project.

Alongside the video, Sara wrote: "How cute are these?!

"These tea light holders are super quick and easy to make – all you need is some lovely patterned sheets of vellum and a trusty hot glue!"

Vellum is similar to crafting card, but thicker and more translucent, making it easy to fold and manipulate. It's perfect for this sort of project, as it will easily hold the flower shape Sara has folded it into.

These tealight holders are only suitable for use with LED tea lights – they should not be used with any candle with a real flame.

Fans were quick to share how much they loved Sara's latest make, with @lisajasc commenting "Love it – great idea" and @ballergirl80 commenting "So beautiful".

If you'd like to make tealight holders like Sara's, you can buy the vellum paper and hot glue gun she used from her online craft website Crafter's Companion.

This isn't the first time Sara has impressed us with a simple project made for her home. We loved her reed diffuser decoration and her cute découpage trinket tray.

We can't wait to see what Sara makes next!
