We love Sara Davies' easy way to decorate a prosecco bottle
Sara Davies is the queen of crafting – and we're constantly inspired with simple makes she comes up with to create for your home or give as gifts. Her latest is no exception: a brilliant idea to decorate a bottle of prosecco using découpage.
The Ultimate Wedding Planner star talked through how to make the bottle decoration while presenting BBC's Morning Live yesterday (Thursday).
She showed fellow presenters Helen Skelton and Matt Allwright how to make the craft project. She started by painting the bottle using a gesso paint, which contains primer.
She then découpaged the bottle by applying pretty motifs cut out of napkins, before covering them in PVA glue.
On the show, Sara suggested that you these decorated bottles would make a lovely gift for a teacher at the end of the school year. She said: "If you want to do something that looks a bit more special, I always like to craft something and send it in to school.
"But this is a great way to have something not just that you've hand crafted, but something that can be a keepsake".
Fans were quick to share what a great idea they thought is was on a video of the craft project shared on Sara's Instagram, with @shandclarke commenting: "Such a fabulous idea" and @heather_proud commenting "You always hit the nail on the head. Amazing idea."

This isn't the first project of Sara's we've loved – we were blown away by her easy craft with a reed diffuser, and thought her flamingo cupcake toppers were really cute.
