Love Island star thrilled as he's paired up with Dancing On Ice's Vanessa Bauer
Dancing On Ice's first pairing has been unveiled ahead of the 2025 series, with Love Island star Chris Taylor paired with skater Vanessa Bauer, who is a show favourite and has even bagged the show's coveted win before. Chris has begun training with Vanessa, and admitted via Instagram he couldn't be happier with the pairing as he shared snaps of himself and Vanessa on the ice.
He wrote: "Bloody DELIGHTED to say me & Vanessa are skating together on @dancingonice 2025 …swipe to see how in sync we are(n’t…yet. I’ll accept 51% responsibility for that ). Quivering with excitement to start skating with V-force & learn some sort of grace/decorum (& possibly improve my still quaver like posture ). Message to future Vanessa - I’m sorry. This will make sense in about a week ☺️ (long/short - I’m quite annoying )".
Chris joins stars such as Ferne McCann, Dan Edgar, Sam Aston, Charlie Brooks and more who are taking to the ice. And being paired with Vanessa isn't a bad thing, as the professional has bagged the runner-up title six times and won the show in 2018 alongside Jake Quickenden.

Last series, Vanessa was paired with Made In Chelsea's Miles Nazaire, while she teamed with Joey Essex the year prior. During her time partnered with Joey, rumours of a romance between the duo were rife - with Joey even appearing to plant a kiss on Vanessa during one of their live performances.
While Chris' participation comes just hot of the heels of his appearance on another reality show, Celebs Go Dating. Starring alongside celebs such as Helen Flanagan, Ella Morgan and Tristan Phipps, Chris was hoping to find love on the show but didn't come across his Mrs Right.

Known for his bubbly personality, the reality TV star showed his emotional side on the show and was seen opening up on his previous love live, including getting deep about his split from Maura Higgins with dating gurus Paul Brunson and Anna Williamson, as he held back the tears.
"I became friends with Maura, and then... yeah, like, we were mates for ages, and then it kind of progressed into other things,” he told the agents of the serious relationship.
Paul then asked Chris if he loved Maura to which he responded: “Yeah.” However, in a follow up, Paul asked if he felt Maura loved him, to which Chris shockingly replied: “No.” "It sounds very painful," Anna added, to which Chris replied: "It was."
