Love Island star Ciaran's secret tattoo dedicated to girl he 'fell in love with'
Love Island's Ciaran Davies and Nicole Samuel have been an item since meeting on the show a month ago. However, it seems that Ciaran's past might be catching up with him as his ex-girlfriend has resurfaced, along with news of a secret tattoo he got in her honour.
Ciaran, 21, could be facing some rocky times ahead. Not only because of remarks he made when Casa Amor's Ellie Jackson arrived, but also due to a hidden tattoo he has, reportedly bearing the name of his former girlfriend.
It appears that the Welsh rugby player was previously involved with Gloucester-based student Evie-May Bishop. The TikToker revealed online that her ex-beau even has a tattoo of her name.
In a video she uploaded to TikTok, Evie-May claimed that Ciaran has a tattoo reading "Evie-May". The ink is located on his collarbone beneath his neck.
However, the tattoo doesn't seem to be visible anymore on the Love Island contestant. Ciaran has been seen wearing V-neck T-shirts on the show without any sign of the tattoo, reports the Mirror.
A source previously spilled to The Sun that the pair "were together for under a year in 2022". The publication added: "After he briefly dated a 42 year old. They met each other's families and went on a luxury holiday to Rhodes, as well as race days together.
"Unfortunately, they split because of the distance."
Evie May, who is balancing university studies with a part-time job working with horses, and Ciaran, a full-time surveyor with weekend rugby commitments, found it increasingly difficult to keep their relationship going. Monday 1 July's episode revealed a bombshell as viewers saw Ellie, an old acquaintance of Ciaran's, join the show.
He recognised her but couldn't recall whether they'd been intimate.
"I think I slid into her DMs. I don't think she's one of the 120," he jokingly mentioned. Ellie confessed that they have crossed paths in the past.
The episode then showcased the two villas battle it out in a raunchy races game, where Ciaran is alleged to have snogged Lucy during a round. A text message announcing the main villa as the winner left Nicole asking, "Who the f**k is Lucy? ".
In anticipation for the next episode, the teaser revealed the youngest lad being instructed to passionately kiss the girl he fancied most - which turned out to be Emma Milton. On learning about Ciaran winning the race, Nicole quizzed her fellow villa mates, "Why does he fancy Emma so much then? "
Fans will be kept on tenterhooks until the next episode to see what unfolds post-kiss as Love Island continues.
