New Love Island host revealed - as show legend joins presenting team after two stints in the villa
Love Island has a new host, with wise-cracking 'rizz' merchant Chris Taylor joining the presenting line-up ahead of the new series.
He will team up with Sam Thompson, Indiyah Polack and Amy Hart in fronting the series' spin-off show and join the panel on Aftersun alongside main host Maya Jama.
It comes after Chris, 33, who was once in a relationship with villa favourite Maura Higgins, was revealed to be one of the forthcoming contestants on Celebs Go Dating.
The new Love Island hosting line-up was revealed this morning by The Sun, with a source explaining: “Chris is Love Island royalty and bosses were thrilled to add him to the presenting line-up for The Morning After podcast, as well as the regular weekly Aftersun panel.
"He’ll be joining Amy Hart, who made her podcast debut earlier this year, as well as Sam Thompson and Indiyah Hart, who have juggled podcast and Aftersun for a couple of series now."
Chris first appeared as a contestant on the fifth series of Love Island and, after a brief Hollywood career appearing in a cameo role in the blockbuster Barbie, returned once more.
Viewers saw him struggle to build lasting romance in the show's spin-off Love Island: All Stars earlier this year and he exited the series after 26 days.
He did forge a strong bond with co-star Kaz Kamwi, to the extent that the pair have been repeatedly linked after going on what appeared to be a series of dates.
Despite them insisting they are friends, some fans have been unpersuaded after seeing their cosy days out together.
One wrote: "I feel like they're together." Another adding: "Yeah they are defo seeing eachother lol."
