Love Island favourite brutally dumped from villa leaving Islanders in tears
A Love Island star has been dumped in a shock twist that has left the villa shaken. On Tuesday night, islanders were told to gather round the fire pit immediately for a recoupling leaving whoever was left single sent packing.
After Grace Jackson recoupled with Joey Essex, Samantha Kenny was left single and therefore immediately lost her place on the island. A dramatic couple of episodes have seen Samantha devastated after TOWIE star Joey was reunited with his ex-girlfriend Grace.
Elsewhere the recoupling saw new girl Tiffany Leighton couple up with Ronnie Vint, Ayo Odukoya stick with Mimi Ngulube, Ciaran Davies stay with Nicole Samuel, Sean Stone decide to couple up with Harriet Blackmore as a friendship couple and Omar Nyame couple with Jess White.
Fans flocked to social media to give their opinion on the dumping with on person penning: "Samantha getting DUMPED after the way everything went down between joey and grace is actually one of the most tragic things that’s ever happened on LI #loveIsland."
Another wrote: "I’m now a full time Samantha supporter cause that wicked man really played in her face for the past 2 weeks." While a third chimed in: "Hands up if you think Samantha deserved better #loveisland."
Sam had been coupled up with Joey for two weeks before he had his head turned by the arrival of bombshell Grace. Joey revealed to the rest of the villa that the pair were actually exes, having enjoyed a summer romance.
The chemistry sizzled between the reunited duo as they were sent for a romantic sleepover in Casa Amor, leading to a night of passion. Samantha was left sobbing and 'embarrassed' after Joey then snogged Grace on the daybed in front of everyone. The pair later spent a steamy night together in the hideaway.
It's not the first time an islander has been kicked off the show during a dramatic twist. When Joey entered the show as a bombshell, the star ‘stole’ Samantha from Sam Taylor, forcing him to be booted out the villa 24 hours after his arrival.
It comes as Samantha's furious family took to social media to ‘slam’ Joey after his actions left the makeup artist in tears. Taking to Instagram, Samantha’s sister Toni posted a picture of her sister on her Instagram story, alongside the caption: “No one makes my little Sam cry.
“Proud beyond belief of how strong you are my love. Keep telling them all to get f****d & keep being the star of that show your mans on his way. Thanks for everyone’s lovely comments, we see them all and couldn’t be prouder of our girl.”
