Love Island fans spot clue Wil and Uma are doomed - despite quitting together in TV's most romantic move for years
Love Island fans are convinced the latest couple dumped from the villa won't last on the outside after Uma Jammeh dramatically quit the ITV2 dating show following her partner Wil Anderson's departure.
The latest episode saw bombshells Reuben and Josh choose a girl each to couple up with. Things seemed to be going well when Josh chose to pair up with Mimi, but Uma was left heartbroken when Reuben stole her away from Wil, leaving him dumped from the island.
Before Reuben made his decision, Uma had just rekindled her romance with Wil after a rocky time for the couple, which saw Uma furious with him for kissing another girl in Casa Amor. Despite this, when Wil, 23, received a text revealing he'd been dumped from the villa in a shocking twist, Uma, also 23, declared she was "going to leave", leaving her fellow Islanders stunned.
Many fans were convinced that the way Wil spoke to Uma and the TV star previously admitting she had never been in a relationship before were clues that it's not going to last on the outside.
One person said: "No, but sorry, Uma is leaving for a man who will drop her at the first blonde he meets at the airport?" in reference to Wil admitting that his usual type is blondes.
Another added: "I remember when I was young and naive; Uma is about to experience her first heartbreak and she’s not even in a relationship. All that for them to end up splitting in a few days."
"You can tell she ain’t had a bf. That’s what it is. This heartbreak will be insane. Sorry, Uma," another chimed in.
Someone else took to social media to add: "Maybe it’s a good thing Uma is leaving because then I don’t need to see her heartbreak on TV."
While another expressed concern, saying: "Uma leaving for Wil, who openly spoke to her in a condescending manner and isn't his type at all, is insane behaviour."
"This is a bit mad, but Uma and Wil are 100% not working on the outside, I’m so sorry. He started being nice to her 48 hours ago," said another social media user.
Meanwhile, others praised fellow islander Jess for trying to convince Uma to stay until the end of the show, with one person adding: "“Let him wait for you” is the best thing Jess has said. If he really liked her, he will wait for her on the outside. Uma should love herself, man gosh."
