Love Island couple who split after 'crisis talks' drop major hint that romance is back on

Two Love Island stars who reportedly split after their relationship hit a 'crisis' point have hinted that they are back together.

Tyrique Hyde, 25, and Ella Thomas, 24, sparked up a romance on the ITV2 reality dating show in 2023, but called it quits towards the end of last year.

They briefly got back together but split again with the Mail reporting they were in 'crisis talks' over the future of their relationship.

But now the stars have dropped clues that they have reconciled after both uploading Snapchat stories from the same London shopping centre, at the same time.

Former footballer Tyrique posted a snap at the store with the simple caption: “Forgive.”

Meanwhile, Ella confirmed she was in the same location by posting a snap of a Louis Vuitton shopping bag. In a third image, the model was also seen trying on a pair of designer trainers.

In February, MailOnline reported that the pair had split for good after six months together.

A source told the publication: "Ella and Tyrique have decided it's time to go their separate ways.

“They have such love for each other, but they often struggle to get along and as viewers saw in the villa, they're always arguing."

The Saturday outing marked the first time they had appeared together on social media since the reported split. OK! contacted Ella and Tyrique for comment.

The pair previously wiped all photographs of each other from their social media and unfollowed each other.

Ella and Tyrique finished third during the last summer series of Love Island with Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki runner up, and Jess Harding and Sammy Root, winning the show.

It comes as Ella broke her silence on social media, as she spoke out about the split for the first time.

In her first words on the split, Ella hosted a Snapchat Q&A on Sunday (March 31). She was asked: "Are you still dating Ty?," and she replied: "Just to clear things up, we're not together...

"Didn't speak on it while we were figuring things out & dealing with it privately. Both agree it's for the best & wish him well. All love. Thanks to everyone that supported us together and individually [heart emoji]," Ella continued.

Tyrique was quick to issue his own response to say exactly what he thought about Ella's announcement.

When Ty hosted his own Snapchat Q&A, one follower asked him: "Ella announced your breakup and you have nothing to f***kin say no!

The TV star responded: "Tf you want me to say? This is my life g. Did you announce your breakup to the world? Just cos people on Love Island usually put out statements don't mean I have to...

"That's not my portion. Thank you to all my followers who show love. LATAA."
